BRAINSTORMING HOW THE COMIC BEGINS.

So, apparently we're all going to end up in a hotel together, and then chaos ensues. But to actually begin the storyline, we need to know how we'll all meet and interact. For example, I've got an idea of why the heck I'd go live in a hotel... but that's a surprise. xDD
Well, I guess I should just do that comic as an example of what I mean? o-o;; But anyways, why would a student who doesn't even have a part-time job have the money to go live elsewhere? I'm thinking maybe the hotel can be free for artists or something (after all, it is called the "Artist Resting Place Hotel", lovingly abbreviated to ARPH, which sounds suspiciously like ARF but we'll ignore that, right? ) OR there could be something awesome like "free and damages covered for those who pass an entry test" and we could have a couple very retarded trials for our personas to get the rights to a free hotel room. xDD (Like... YOU GET TO LIVE HERE IF YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH OUR MYSTERY DUNGEON OF DOOM! or something. 8P *shot* )

Maybe the hotel can be, in fact, SURROUNDED by a mystery maze forest dungeon of doom, and to go live there all what we need is to manage to pass through all those obstacles... or something. That way, we'll have adventures whenever we want to, and a varied terrain! xDD

So yeah. SUGGESTION TIME.

And by the way Sophie, I'm totally for that thing where we meet and I try to impress you with my evilness and you end up going to take superhero courses to fight against me. Supersophie. Supsie. Well, the reason why i'd wanna live in a hotel is because THEY'RE AWESOME! >u< -has always wanted to live in a hotel for some reason D8-
I like the artists live there for free idea. =u=~ but I am very simple-minded. (what does that have to do with anything?;; )

Okay.... If there were trials, one of them could be a survival thing like you said, another could be something stupid like laughing at a retarded joke he makes... I dunno? xD;; Or one could have something to do with the name of the hotel, as the hotel owner might want to verify that we're all artists. So he might ask us to... I dunno... make something artistic out of a pile of junk! 8DD

Actually, there has to be a reason WHY the dude wants to let people live there for free, right? So some trials could be like exorcising some ghosts from the hotel or something, and that would also explain why nobody else is staying there. O3O

Maybe it can be a combo of dungeon crawly trial enduring goodness

But one thing is for sure: we'll have to either go solo or split into groups for different trials, because it'll be crazy to try to draw all 19 (or 20, now?) of us on every page. xDDD
